Our Mission- Putting a Stop to Relationship Abuse

Love is on of our deepest expressions as a human, and one of the most important things we often search for. Yet we are never really taught about love. And more importantly taught what the difference is between a healthy and unhealthy relationship. We need to educate young people about this distinct difference, empowering them to identify and avoid abuse and learn how to love better.

  • On average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. During one year, this equates to more than 10 million women and men.
  • 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner. This includes a range of behaviors (e.g. slapping, shoving, pushing) and in some cases might not be considered "domestic violence."
  • 48.4% of women and 48.8% of men have experienced at least one psychologically aggressive behavior by an intimate partner.
  • Only 33% of teens who were in a violent relationship ever told anyone about the abuse.

These alarming rates are very eye-opening to say the least, and not something often talked about. But what can we do about this?

We need to start educating communities from a young age to know the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship and how to get out of an unhealthy relationship if you are in one!

Thus what we do to contribute, is that we donate 10% of your purchase's value from our TBD Collection to a non-profit organization named OneLove that works with young people through powerful films and honest conversations.

The One Love Foundation is a registered 501 (C)3 non-profit that focuses on educating communities on healthy and unhealthy relationships.
